One dashboard for a freight operation

Warehouse-grade Wi-Fi and an inventory-to-accounting integration that ended 'where's my order?' calls — installed without losing a single shipping day.

Case studyVector Freight Co.

The background

Vector Freight Co. runs a 2,000m² third-party logistics operation in Western Sydney. Scanner Wi-Fi died between high racking, inventory lived in three systems that disagreed daily, and staff burned hours answering customer calls about order status they had to look up in courier portals one by one.

What it had to do

  • Full scanner coverage across racking and dock
  • One trusted inventory number across store, WMS and accounting
  • Live order status visible to staff and key customers
  • Zero downtime cutover — the warehouse ships daily

How we built it

A proper RF site survey drove placement of industrial access points with seamless roaming, installed overnight across two weekends. We then connected the online store, WMS and Xero through an integration layer so stock and orders sync in near-real-time, and put a live status dashboard on the office wall — with a filtered view shared to top customers.
